Volunteering in Peru

Join us for this discussion as we speak with Emily who spent 6 months in Peru volunteering in 3 different projects in two different regions. Her first stop was in Lima, where she first worked with four year olds in a summer educational program and then in a home for elderly women. Next she traveled to Ayacucho where she taught English. Not only were her programs vastly different, but her perspective concerning each are a must read for anyone considering volunteering in any capacity. Hear about her living conditions, the organization she went through, and what she gained from the experience.
